Invoices and receipts

When to issue a tax invoice, when a receipt, how an invoice-receipt differs from a proforma, and how to cancel a document already issued.

Which document you issue follows what happened in the transaction, not what is convenient. A tax invoice records the sale, a receipt records the payment, and an invoice-receipt does both when the money arrives as the deal closes. An osek patur issues no tax invoice at all, only a transaction invoice and a receipt. A document already issued cannot be edited or deleted, so a mistake is corrected with a credit note that cancels it and a fresh document in its place. The guides here cover each document type, what has to appear on it, and what to do when something already went out wrong.
